Speech Arcade is an all-in-one platform for interactive speech therapy games, data tracking, and progress reporting. Our platform includes tens of thousands of pre-made prompts for all of the most common speech therapy goal areas, or you can create your own. You can set up a classroom for all of your students/clients, and assign their goal areas to them. When you play a game and choose the students who are playing, each student automatically only sees questions for their own goal areas. If you have a reporting plan, Speech Arcade also takes data for every trial and every student individually, and generates progress reports for each goal.
Yes! Speech Arcade is a perfect option for all of your teletherapy sessions. In most cases, the SLP/A providing therapy shares their screen with the student(s). Most video platforms allow sharing of mouse control, so you can also allow your students to control the game if you'd like. In the event that you are unable to share mouse control, our remote play links ("play on another device") still allow you to give your students control of the game: just send them the link and have them share their screen with you.
Yes! Speech Arcade was built with the intention of being used both via teletherapy AND in-person sessions. You can use Speech Arcade games on any tablet by opening them up in the internet browser (no app download needed). For small group sessions, we recommend using a projector to show the games during your session. You can use a Bluetooth mouse and/or keyboard to allow students to control the games while they're projected. Speech Arcade is also great for push-in therapy sessions - just use the classroom projector and our remote play links to easily show the games to a large class.
Using Speech Arcade is simple and intuitive. When you sign up, you'll first set up your classroom(s) and add your students by navigating to the "classrooms" section from the left sidebar. You can add unlimited students and organize them into unlimited classrooms. Assign each of your students the goal areas that they are working on. Each time you start a game, you'll select which students are playing. During the games, students will take turns and will only be shown questions for their own goal areas. if you have a reporting plan, we will also take all of the data for you automatically, and you'll have access to progress reporting.
Yes. Most video conferencing software allows you to provide mouse control to your students. However, we know that there are some video conferencing platforms that do not allow this, so we designed Speech Arcade with this in mind. If you're unable to share mouse control, your students will still be able to control the games using our remote play links. When you start a game, simply select "play on another device." Provide the access code to your student so that they can start and control the game on their end. Then, just have them share their screen with you.
Only the therapist needs to log in to Speech Arcade. If you want your students or families to be able to access games without you present, you can use our "play at home" remote link feature. To use this, set up a game and then click "play at home" at the end. This will generate a code that you can provide to families. They will just need to go to play.speecharcade.com and enter the code to play this game. Because you (the therapist) are not present during play at home sessions, data is not taken during games play with the "play at home" feature.
Yes! You'll be charged (or refunded) a prorated fee for your current billing period, and pay the new fee thereafter.
Yes, of course - we want you to know exactly what you're getting before you start a subscription, and we know you'll love Speech Arcade once you try it. We offer a 7 day fully-featured free trial period at sign up. You don't need to provide any payment information to start a free trial, so there's no risk. You'll just need an email address.

Yes, Speech Arcade works on iPads and all other tablets. To use Speech Arcade on a tablet, just open up the tablet's internet browser (for iPads, that's the Safari app). You can go to speecharcade.com, log in, and set up a game just like you normally would on a computer. Alternatively, you can set up the game on your computer, and select "play on another device" at the end. Then, just go to play.speecharcade.com in your tablet's browser, and enter the remote play code. "Play on another device" games are intended to be used with the SLP/A present, so data is still collected during these games.
Yes! Not only can you target multiple goals within a game, each student within the game will only practice their OWN goals. That means that if you have a group of two students, and one is only working on vocalic /r/ and the other is only working on social communication, the game will automatically only show the relevant questions to each student. This makes Speech Arcade the most flexible tool available for mixed groups!
We offer both both monthly and annual subscription plans. With an annual plan, you save 25% on the total cost. Our monthly plans are $14/mo without data tracking, and $19/mo with data tracking. Our annual plans are $119/year without data tracking, and $169/year with data tracking.
Yes! While Speech Arcade already comes with tens of thousands of pre-written prompts for all of the most common goal areas, we know that one size doesn't fit all when it comes to speech and language therapy. Speech Arcade empowers you to create your own target lists of multiple choice and open ended questions. You can also add images to your custom prompts!
Yes, we're always working on new high-quality, custom games to add to Speech Arcade. We'll let you know when new ones come out!
Most of our games have audio and sound effects (although some of the classics do not). You can always mute the audio and sound effects from the gameplay screen if you'd like to.
The built-in Speech Arcade prompt lists are designed to be shuffled through in their entirety, but you're still in full control of what you want your students to see and practice. If you only want your students to see particular prompts, you can create your own custom target lists with just the prompts that you want!
Yes. All of our games can be used with any built-in target lists or any target lists that you create.
Speech Arcade is compatible with any video conferencing platforms that allow screen-sharing - almost all do!
